AMI Journal Collection

Published since 1937, the journal of the Association Montessori Internationale presents writings relevant to Montessori education, drawing from both current and archival sources. Over the years, it has appeared under various titles, including the Monthly Letter, Communications, and the AMI Journal. The collection comprises 204 issues and 1,555 articles, including many by Maria Montessori and Mario M. Montessori. Since 2010, AMI has published themed issues focusing on specific topics. These journals have been scanned and presented in their original published form, without modification. As such, some language and references may not align with current styles, understandings and conventions. Please see our editorial policy.
