Objects and Treasures

In Maria Montessori’s study at AMI the visitor will find many of Montessori’s personal belongings: photos, paintings, first editions of her books, diplomas and awards, gifts – large and small – from many countries around the world, and some of her furniture. Each of these have their own fascinating story to tell, and their presence in Maria Montessori's study contributes to an atmosphere of both elegance and scholarship.
