We are delighted to announce that after major renovation work Maria Montessori’s study is again open for visits.

Maria Montessori’s former study is preserved at the AMI Head Office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where we curate it with exceptional care and attention to detail. Many visitors have shared that stepping into the study and experiencing its unique atmosphere is a deeply moving experience.

Visits are hosted by a member of AMI’s legacy team, and are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with 30-minute time slots. Visits can be booked from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Please note that we are unable to accommodate visits on weekends, or during the December and Easter holidays when our office is closed.

Before we schedule your visit, please check your other commitments to ensure your proposed time is convenient. To help us prepare, kindly let us know if you’re comfortable communicating in English or will have someone assisting, and share any other relevant details about your visit.
